The Missionary Brief exists to create space for sincere questions about faith.
Episodes explore scripture, Church history, doctrine, missionary conversations, difficult questions, and different ways of thinking about belief and evidence.
The goal isn’t to manufacture debates or pretend difficult questions don’t exist. It’s to have conversations that are thoughtful, honest, useful, and grounded in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

Meet Travis
A thoughtful guide for difficult conversations.
Travis has spent years talking with missionaries, members, skeptics, investigators, and people trying to make sense of difficult questions about faith. The Missionary Brief grew out of those conversations.
His approach isn’t centered on winning arguments. It’s about slowing conversations down, examining assumptions, looking carefully at scripture and history, and helping people think more clearly about the questions they’re asking.
